BBC 3 documentaries

When BBC 3 produce documentaries it is not the typical hard hitting documentaries furthermore these can be seen in a more informal approach. Therefore they do not provoke hard-hitting thoughts about what the documentary is on.

In addition the BBC 3 documentaries would not appeal to the high-minded viewers this is more for younger audiences, which allow its intended target audience to understand it easier.

When it comes to documentaries, which are unlikely to be associated with BBC 3 however BBC 3 has seen average 80%, increase in viewers of documentaries since 2008.

BBC 3 create and engaging documentary amongst younger audiences and they are far more interesting than the usual formal documentary format.

Documentary “sun sex and suspicious parents”

We notice this documentary is different compared to the conventional documentaries there is a more informal approach when people are interviewed in the documentary. We notice that the non-diegetic music is young and fresh instead of the typical boring and blunt music.
It uses a voiceover in order to allow the audience to follow the documentary and understand what it happening this appears in all documentaries as it gives background information.
